It is that time of the year once more when we invite you to enter our Slow Melody Solo Competition. Please find in the sidebar Official Entry Form plus Rules and additional Information Sheets to enable your members to enter.
The competition will be held at our usual venue: The Youth Enterprise Centre in 17-19 Wiltshire Street, Salisbury On Sunday the 1st May 2016.
There is no official pianist supplied for this competition, however, if competitors would like to seek the services of Francis Dennis (as they may have in previous years). Then it is at the competitor's discretion to contact and book a rehearsal time with her. Francis’s home phone number is 8337 6959.
In addition to the Brass Band instrumentation Sections, we also wish to encourage Concert Band Brass players to enter in the Orchestral Brass section.
If possible have your entries in by Tuesday 14th April 2016. Entry Fee of $10 per entrant and Post to PO Box 316 Salisbury SA 5108. Electronic funds transfer is also possible, Details contained in the Information sheet.
It would be appreciated if an advanced copy of Names of entrants / Section entered and instrument being played could be emailed to me for programming purposes For any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact me. We look forward to receiving your entry forms and seeing you on the day.
